Obituary of Arleda Rena Wilmsmeyer

Arleda Rena Wilmsmeyer, age 49, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Rena was born July 14, 1971 in Sullivan, Missouri, the daughter of Dennis Matchell and Myrtle (Achens) Marks. On June 23, 2001, Rena was united in marriage to James Wilmsmeyer in Union, Missouri. They shared 19 years together at the time of her passing. Rena was a housekeeper supervisor at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for many years. She enjoyed shopping and always enjoyed finding a good deal at yard sales and thrift shops. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. Rena loved her family and she loved the people she worked with. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. She had a loving and caring heart and touched many people’s lives. Rena is survived by her husband James Wilmsmeyer of the home; children Michael Pruessner (Anita Messex), Tyler Wilmsmeyer, Baileigh Wilmsmeyer (Isaiah Wilson), Brooklyn Wilmsmeyer; and Noah Pruessner; parents Dennis Matchell and wife Linda and Myrtle Marks and husband Edward; brothers Allen Matchell (Christy) and Nathan Matchell (Laura); sisters Robin Coffman, Janet Nash, and Betsy Spaunhorst; brother-in-law Christopher Wilmsmeyer (Angie); sister-in-law Belinda Young (Bobby); many nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends. Rena was preceded in death by her son Matthew Pruessner; brother-in-law Allen Coffman; and in-laws Jim and Carol Wilmsmeyer. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach, Missouri from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family.
