Obituary of Betty J. Marz

Betty J. Marz, age 63, of Eldon, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Betty was born December 3, 1956 in Rolla, Missouri, the daughter of Herman and Ruby (White) Ware. On May 31, 1975, Betty was united in marriage to John Marz in Cuba, Missouri. They shared 45 years together at the time of her passing. Betty enjoyed spending time camping and playing card games. She also liked finding many treasures while antiquing. She loved traveling and exploring new places. Her dogs Hannah and Domino held a special place in her heart. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family. She loved them dearly and always enjoyed being with them. Betty is survived by her husband John Marz of the home; son Brett Marz of Eldon, Missouri; daughters Christina Lair and husband Jason of Godfrey, Illinois, Connie Marz and husband Glen Gram of Eldon, Missouri, Susan Walker of Eldon, Missouri, and Sasha Holtmeyer of Fulton, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Leroy Ware of Rolla, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Ruby Ware; son John Reuben Marz; son-in-law Evertt Walker; and sister Judy Staudenmyer. Services will be held at a later date.
