Obituary of Teresa E. Field

Teresa E. Field, age 62, of Columbia, Missouri was called home on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in her home after a long battle with cancer. Teresa was born June 24, 1958 in Mexico, Missouri, the daughter of Denton and Marilyn (Stanon) Lewis. Teresa was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Don't cry for me. I will be okay. Heaven is my home now, and this is where I'll stay. Don't cry for me, I have no fear, all my pain is gone. Jesus took my tears. Don't cry for me. This is not the end. I will be waiting here for you when we meet again. We will miss you mom. Teresa is survived by her daughters Lauren Field of Columbia, Missouri and Nicki Nolen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; son-in-laws Giovanni Velez of Columbia, Missouri and Jeff Nolen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren Summer Nolen of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Sebastian Velez, and Avery Velez both of Columbia, Missouri; brothers Tim Lewis of Hannibal, Missouri and Todd Lewis of St. Peters, Missouri. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Roger Dee Field, father Denton Lewis, and mother Marilyn Lewis. Private Services will be held for family.
