Obituary of Nina Maxine (Burrows) Jennett
Nina Maxine (Burrows) Jennett, 82 years old, of Lake Ozark, Missouri went to be with her Lord and Savior in heaven on Sunday, December 13, 2020 after suffering a long illness.
She was born on August 3, 1938 in Wolverine, Michigan and was pleased to take her senior year trip to the Statue of Liberty. She married James D. Jennett on November 28, 1958 and they recently celebrated their anniversary of 62 years. They raised their family in southern Michigan where she also accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1977. A few years later, they moved to Erie, Pennsylvania where they served at the Erie City Mission and City Mission Thrift Store for 10 years. After retiring from the mission, they moved to Hastings, Michigan for a few years, and then moved to Lake of the Ozark area, near family, where they held regular singing services in area nursing homes for several years. She was a kind and quiet woman with a dry sense of humor and a sparkle in her eye. She suffered patiently through many years of health issues with grace and a bit of stubborn spunk. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, Find-A-Word books as well as watching deer, birds, and other wildlife. She enjoyed black coffee and did not like tea! She loved her family, enjoyed people, and often opened their home to others for meals and fellowship. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by husband James Jennett; children Deb (Jennett) Urwin and husband Chuck, Dan Jennett and wife Linda (George), Darrell Jennett and wife Julie, Diane (Jennett) Denney and husband Ronald, and Doug Jennett; her grandchildren Charles and Kaitlin Urwin, Christopher Urwin, Julia Urwin, Joseph Urwin, Stephen Urwin, Elizabeth Urwin, Trisha (Jennett) and Mike Goddard, Tracy (Jennett) and Alan Wohlgemut, DJ and Danielle Jennett, Joshua and Jennifer Jennett, Benjamin Jennett, Jacqueline (Jennett) and Jon Swan, Thomas and Theresa Jennett, Christina (Jennett) and Erik Templin, Jill Denney, Jessica Denney, Jason and Krystal Denney, Jacob Denney, Kara Jennett, Josiah Jennett, Meagan Jennett, Brooke Jennett, Brianna Jennett; and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Harvey and Ruth Anne Burrows, sister Lola (Burrows) and Neil Burgess, sister-in-law Clara Parker, sister-in-law Judy Jennett, brother-in-law Bill Jennett, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.
