Obituary of Lorita M. Long

Lorita M. Long, age 57, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla, Missouri. Lorita was born July 5, 1963 in San Bernardino, California. She was the daughter of Nile and Theresa (Denman) Stone. Lorita enjoyed spending time making crafts. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and being at the creek. Lorita is survived by her sons Brad Witt (Charity) of Montreal, Missouri and Travis Todd (Meaghan) of Winfield, Missouri; daughter Geneva Witt of Iberia, Missouri; 6 grandchildren Noah Jahr, Carly Jahr, Carsen Witt, Elaina Witt, Kinsley Witt, and Graysen Todd; brothers Dale Stone of Oregon, Gale Stone (Daryll) of Arkansas Pass, Texas, and Junior Stone of Centertown, Missouri; sisters Brenda Coleman (Jerry) of Eldon, Missouri and Lena Mantle (Bob) of Centralia, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Lorita was preceded in death by her parents Nile and Theresa Stone and sister Glenda Stone-Cooper. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 1, 2021 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Tuscumbia Cemetery in Tuscumbia, Missouri. Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
