Obituary of Robbie Ollison
It is with joy in the Spirit that we announce the promotion of Robbie Ollison (Raymond Aubrey Ollison) of Lake Ozark, Missouri to his heavenly reward on January 1, 2021. After a wonderful New Year’s Eve at home with his family, he went to sleep and woke up in the presence of the Lord and the glory of Heaven.
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
Robbie was born on May 1, 1971 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Larry and Loretta (Phillips) Ollison and brother of Sherrie (Ollison) Kennedy.
Robbie graduated from Camdenton High School in 1989 and graduated from Southwest Missouri State with degrees in Religion and Psychology. He spent many years working in the family business (Raymond’s Boat & Motor Sales). For the past five years he has worked as Associate Pastor alongside his parents, Larry & Loretta Ollison, at Walk on the Water Faith Church in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Robbie was an excellent pastor and Bible teacher. The depth of his understanding of the Word of God has brought comfort to many families through his ministry. His video teachings will continue to bring revelation and comfort. Robbie was an inspiration to the youth of Walk on the Water Faith Church and had a profound impact on their lives. He was deeply loved by his church family.
In high school, Robbie was co-captain of the Camdenton Laker football team when they played in the Missouri State Champion playoffs. Twice, under Robbie’s leadership, they were victorious and were the Missouri State Champions during his junior and senior years.
Robbie was a musician and enjoyed playing guitar with his friends. He had a big generous heart and helped so many people by spending time talking with them and listening to their heart. He was loved by his church, his family, and his friends.
Robbie is survived by his wife, Rachel; sons Raymond Elijah Ollison, Larry Joel Ollison, and daughter Julia Isabella Ollison; step-children Adreanna Danuser and husband Wyatt, Lucas Crall and Madi Clark; his parents Larry and Loretta (Phillips) Ollison; sister Sherrie (Ollison) Kennedy and husband Chris; and grandmother Charlene Ollison.
Robbie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Ollison, and Aubrey and Isabelle Phillips, his aunt Reta (Ollison) Lehman, and uncle Daniel Phillips.
Plans for a Celebration of Life service are still pending. In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation to the “Robbie Ollison Memorial Fund” at Walk on the Water Faith Church, PO Box 1800, Osage Beach, MO 65065; or donate online at www.walkonthewater.org.
