Obituary of Barbara Jane Snowden

Early Tuesday morning January 06, 2021 Barbara (Bobbie) Jane Snowden peacefully passed away in her home in with her family by her side. Bobbie came into this world on the 22nd day of January 1943 in Kansas City Missouri. She was 1 of 3 children born to Ivan and Helen Jamison. Bobbie entered into marriage to Robert Lee Snowden on July 21, 1962. On February 17, 1963 they welcomed their only child Ronda LeAnn Snowden. Bobbie stayed busy with her love of sewing, crocheting, gardening, and antiquing. She loved hummingbirds, horses, and her puppy Roxy. She always enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley. She had her jewelry, hair, and nails always pretty. She absolutely loved her wine. She enjoyed playing cards and would “never” cheat. She worked for 20 plus years at Lake Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Jamison, father, Ivan Jamison, sister, Jackie Kennedy, uncle, Byron Jamison, stepsons, Steven Snowden and Douglas Snowden, and husband, Robert Lee Snowden. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Bear; brother, Phil Jamison and Chriscinda (wife); stepson, Robert Snowden; nephews, Kenneth and Anthony Jamison; niece, Kimberly and Thomas Avery and Angela Timanus; grandchildren, Amanda and Darren Peters, Mindy and Greg Koon, Gabe Snowden, Lee Snowden, Lacey Shields, and John Michael Snowden; great grandchildren, Olivia, Everett Gregory, Parker, Daphne, Ashlyn, Benjamin, Destiny, Joey, Tas, and Darian. The family is having a private celebration of life on January 23, 2021.
