Obituary of JoAnne M. Gardner
JoAnne M. Gardner, age 66, of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
JoAnne was born October 15, 1954 in Stanton, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (Hainuat) Davison.
On June 9, 1973, JoAnne was united in marriage to Randy Gardner in Lake Ozark, Missouri. They shared 47 years of marriage at the time of her passing.
JoAnne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and friend. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with each one of them. JoAnne loved to plan and host big family gatherings. She loved Christmas, so much that her and her family started Christmas in July. She looked forward to watching hallmark Christmas movies each year. JoAnne loved to go to rummage sales and enjoyed baking. She was a kind and caring soul to all and she never met a stranger. She treated everyone like part of the family. She was known as the football and wrestling grandma to all the grandkids friends. JoAnne left behind a legacy of love. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
JoAnne is survived by her husband Randy Gardner of the home; her son Randy A. Gardner and wife Evie of Lake Ozark, Missouri; her daughter Tammy Gardner of Rocky Mount, Missouri and husband Steve Lemler of Sedalia, Missouri; her five grandchildren Taylor Magnuson, Austin Magnuson, Tanner Gardner, Genevieve Gardner, and Kody Simmons; one great-granddaughter Navy Simmons; sister JoLene Kreutzer of Osage Beach, Missouri; her brother-in-law Kevin Kreutzer of Osage Beach, Missouri; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Terry and Connie Gardner; mother-in-law Betty Gardner-Berger of Eldon, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Yvonne Davison.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:30 am at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:30 am prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Lake Memorial Gardens in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
