Obituary of Ruth A. Stoufer

Ruth A. Stoufer, age 75, of Macks Creek, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at her home in Macks Creek surrounded by her family.

Ruth was born March 23, 1945 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the daughter of Bert and Neva L. (Thomas) Willis.

On April 7, 1979, Ruth was united in marriage to Donald Ray Stoufer in Macks Creek. They shared 33 years together at the time he preceded her in death on March 21, 2013.

Ruth enjoyed working outside in her garden and fishing. She also liked getting out to hunt for squirrels and mushrooms. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her sons Lee Huber of Macks Creek, Missouri, Steve Stoufer of Macks Creek, Missouri, Mike Stoufer (Sara) Macks Creek, Missouri, and Ronnie Stoufer of Macks Creek, Missouri; daughters Rhonda Milligan of Independence, Missouri and Lisa Wert of Macks Creek, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother Richard Willis of Macks Creek, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Neva Willis, husband Donald Stoufer, and brother Benny Jean Willis.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Macks Creek, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow services at Parrack Grove Cemetery in Macks Creek, Missouri.
