Obituary of David James Flower
David James Flower, affectionately known as DJ, age 41, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
He was born in Asuncion, Paraguay on June 6, 1979 to his parents,Don and Julie Flower. They, along with his three sisters, Tammi, Susie and Bekka, were delighted to add a boy to the family.
DJ’s childhood years were spent in Paraguay, South America. He enjoyed adventures with his sisters, playing games, swimming, fishing, picnics,camping and riding his motorcycle . He became quite an outdoorsman and spent much of his free time hunting. He was kind and selfless, always thinking of others. He enjoyed making the family laugh through pranks and telling jokes.
After graduating from high school, DJ transitioned to the United States. A few years later he was blessed with four children, Susan, James, Daisy and River. They were the light of his life and he loved them deeply. He worked as a security officer, but his passion in life was his kids.
He enjoyed writing poetry and challenged himself to reading hundreds of books per year. He was a deep thinker with a wealth of knowledge.
DJ will be remembered by his gentleness. He was quiet, calm, steady and always desired to be at peace with everyone around him.
