Obituary of Jeffrey Todd Carolus
Jeffrey Todd Carolus passed away Tuesday morning, April 6, 2021 at his residence in Osage Beach, Missouri. Shelly Carolus, his wife was at the residence at the time of his passing.
Jeffrey was born in St. Joseph, Missouri January 30, 1966 to George V. and Donna L. Carolus. He has two older brothers, Barry L. Carolus currently of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Scott T. Carolus of St. Joseph, Missouri.
Jeff enjoyed motorcycle riding during his younger years and enjoyed boating with his friends and family at Lake Perry in Kansas, Table Rock Lake and Smithville Lake in Missouri, and water skiing on the Missouri River north of St. Joseph to ole Otis’s Marina with his dad at the helm.
He was a long-time Chiefs fan, musician and rock music fan. He played in a high school band with his brother Barry, played drums for the band The Reubens, and for the band TOAST (Brad Streeby / Jeff Churchill) in the mid 1990’s. It was with TOAST he enjoyed most of his rock drumming career traveling with the band for many shows and many good times in the Midwest.
He graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph and was awarded the Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science by Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. In the late 1980’s he was employed by the EOC of St. Joseph and worked in the computer department for many years. During this time frame he married twice with no children, and subsequently moved to the Ozarks and was hired as a software programming engineer for Affiliated Acceptance Corporation in Sunrise Beach in 2003. He resided in the Camdenton (Greenview) area and married Shelly Amos of St. Joseph in July 2004. They have two daughters Toni Carolus, a recent graduate and Georgi Carolus, attending school at Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri. He enjoyed the outdoor life of the Ozarks, while maintaining his residence, he was an avid barbeque chef and loved cooking for his family and numerous visiting friends who would always stop by.
He was last employed with Wicked Willie's Restaurant in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Jeff provided well for his family, and he loved his wife Shelly, his kids Toni and Georgi, his mother Donna and his father George. He will be dearly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach, Missouri.
