Obituary of Michael Ray Manns

Michael Ray Manns, 55, of Gardner, Kansas passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center. 

 

Michael was born January 10, 1966 at Kansas City, Kansas to Charles David and Carol Ann (Anderson) Manns. He grew up in Shawnee and graduated from Truth Christian Academy in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He later lived in Hillsdale and Spring Hill, moving to Gardner in 2008. Michael worked as a salesman for Napa Auto Parts. He married Tina Graves April 6, 1990 in Paola, Kansas. Michael enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He will be missed by family and friends.  

 

He was preceded in death by his father. Michael is survived by his wife, Tina, of the home; children: Zachary Manns, Olathe, Kansas and Melissa Manns, Independence, Missouri; his mother, Carol Manns, Shawnee, Kansas; brothers, Kevin Manns, Climax Springs, Missouri, David Manns, Shawnee, Kansas; granddaughter, Torryn; and two nieces.

 

Family and friends will be gathering for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Kill Creek Park, Shelter #3, Olathe, Kansas, beginning at 3:30pm. There will be a light dinner provided.

 

The family has suggested donations to: American Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City, in honor and memory of Michael.
