Obituary of Kevin Joe Manns

Kevin Joe Manns, 57, of Climax Springs, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home.

Kevin was born January 17, 1964 at Kansas City, Kansas to Charles David and Carol Ann (Anderson) Manns.  He grew up in Shawnee, Kansas and attended Shawnee Mission North High School. Kevin’s occupations following High School included, Residential and Commercial Construction, Land Surveying, Bartending, and most recently he provided General Maintenance and Repair at several resorts located at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Kevin enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his dog, Izzie.  He had many friends around the Lake of the Ozarks area, as well as in the Kansas City Metro Area.  He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, and younger brother.  Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Sara and Rachel, both of Paola; two granddaughters; his mother Carol Manns and brother David Manns Jr., both of Shawnee, Kansas; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Family and friends will be gathering for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Kill Creek Park, Shelter #3, Olathe, Kansas, beginning at 3:30pm. There will be a light dinner provided.

The family has suggested donations to: American Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City, in honor and memory of Kevin.
