Obituary of Frankie Gene McKinney

Frankie “Frank” Gene McKinney, age 85, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his home in Camdenton.

Frank was born on May 11, 1935 in Erick, Oklahoma, the son of Frank Clay and Nannie Belle (Perrin) McKinney.

On October 6, 1962, Frank was united in marriage to Clarice Marr in Carson City, Nevada. They shared 58 years together at the time of his passing.

Frank enjoyed spending time outside hiking and camping. He was involved in the Missouri Games weight lifting division. He loved his family and loved spending time with them. Frank had many friends. He was a kind and good man to everyone.

Frank is survived by his wife Clarice McKinney of the home; daughter Melanee Mazzaferri of Italy; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Nannie McKinney; son Frankie Gene McKinney Jr.; daughters Laurie Massar and Jeanine Thiede; and brothers Paul McKinney and Ron McKinney.

The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. Military Rights will follow visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
