Obituary of Rodney Keith Gruenberg

Rodney Keith Gruenberg passed peacefully into God’s hands on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home in Linn Creek, Missouri.

Rodney was born on July 20, 1951 to Aloysius and Fern Gruenberg in Fargo, North Dakota.  He graduated from high School in Breckenridge, Minnesota in 1969. He later graduated from Moorehead State with a degree in business administration.

He married Lenae in 1973 and they lived in Omaha, Nebraska. He worked in various banking and managerial roles. He retired with his wife in 2014 and moved to Linn Creek, Missouri.

He was a wonderful, loving, caring person. He was liked by all the people he knew as friends and co-workers. He loved golf and spending time on golf courses around the lake with his golf group. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren and cooking for his family.

He is survived by sons Thomas (Kari) and Michael (Kelly) and 6 grandchildren, Alexis, Sidney, Emrie, Cadence, Whitley, and Bryn.

Rodney will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
