Obituary of Shelly Lynne Phillips

Shelly Lynne Phillips, age 70, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Eldon Nursing and Rehabilitation in Eldon, Missouri.

Shelly was born June 6, 1950, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Phyllis (Thompson) Hinds.

She had a heart for people. She loved her job as a registered nurse in the ICU and Critical Care unit caring for her patients for over 25 years.  In her free time, she loved gardening, taking care of her flower beds, or slowing down to read a good book. Shelly also enjoyed going to church and was a faithful member.  Shelly will be loved and missed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend.

Shelly is survived by her children Zachary Phillips and wife Katie of Loveland, Colorado, Jacob Phillips and wife Bree of Nixa, Missouri, and Jessica Meg Behle of Eldon, Missouri; her former husband Chuck Phillips and wife Millette of Osage Beach, Missouri; her three grandchildren Andrew Behle, Emma Behle, and Braxton Phillips; her brother Kurt Hinds and wife Tamara of Fayette, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

Shelly was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Phyllis Hinds.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
