Obituary of Gina Holmes

Gina “Ma” Holmes came into this world on August 6, 1963. She left this world Thursday, May 20, 2021, and is now watching over us.

She was born in Belton, Missouri to William and Margret Boyles. She raised three of her own children, as well as many others, over the course of her life. She owned and operated Holmes Transport for many yers. She ran many businesses and a bar. She made an impact on the life of every person she met.

She was preceded in death by her father William and her mother Margret.

She is survived by her two sons William and Gerald, as well as her daughter Sarah.

She has left the largest hole in the hearts of her many friends and extended family.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Shots, 11703 E. 23rd St. S, Independence, Missouri 64050.
