Obituary of Judy Kay Rush

Judy Kay Rush, age 74, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at her daughter's home in Centralia. Missouri.  She was born August 18, 1946 in Eldon, Missouri, the daughter of Lewis and Nellie (Platter) Allen.

 

On June 5, 1965, Judy was united in marriage to Kenneth Rush.  They shared 56 years together as husband and wife at the time of her death.

 

Judy was an exceptional cook and used her culinary talents at numerous restaurants through the years.  She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and spending time with them.

 

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; four children, Trevis Scott Rush and wife, Kathy, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Tracy Lynn Rush and wife, Annette, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Trisa Rea Redington and husband, Dan, of Centralia, Missouri, and Tana Sue Morrison and husband, Rick, of Garden City, Missouri;  and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rush, Sarah Morrison, McKenzi Ross (Logan), Patrick Morrison, Karsen Rush, Wesley Redington, and Kade Rush; 3 step-grandchildren, Jessica Settle (Jim), Russ Good (Kylie) and Royce Good (Stacy); and 7 great-step grandchildren.   She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Nellie Allen; her sister, Mary Lou Carlock; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Carlock 

 

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Riley Lamm Cemetery, Eldon, Missouri.
