Obituary of Judith P. McClaren

Judith P. McClaren, age 68, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Judith was born June 7, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Golden and Emma (Habelitz) Proctor. 

 

On June 3, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was united in marriage to Bruce McClaren.  They shared 24 years together as husband and wife at the time of her death.

 

Judith worked as a computer programmer for many years.  She enjoyed nature and loved spending time outdoors watching deer, squirrels, ducks and hummingbirds.  She was an avid reader and an excellent cook.  She especially loved cooking her mother's recipes.  More than anything, Judith loved her family dearly and cherished the time she spent with them.

 

Judith is survived by her husband Bruce of the home; his daughter Arisa Sparks and her son Etzio of Washington State; her mother -in-law Loretta McClaren and father-in-law Phillip McClaren; her brother, Louis Proctor and wife, Berdyna, of Plattsburg, Missouri; her sister Patricia Proctor of Independence, Missouri; her sister-in-law, DeEtta McAlister of Sunrise, Beach, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Golden and Emma Proctor.

 

At a later date, a Celebration of Life will be held at Alhonna Resort in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
