Obituary of Lynn Suzanne Reutner

Lynn Suzanne Reutner, age 74, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at home with her loved ones all around her.

Lynn was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on January 17, 1947 to Douglas and Carole Heymann. She was the youngest of three children.

At the age of 13, her family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. At the age of 15, Lynn lost her mother. After graduating from high school in New York, she joined the Navy as a dental hygienist. After serving, she moved back to St. Louis to be with her family. She met and fell in love with her husband of 28 years, James (Jim) Allen Reutner. They were united in marriage in Hawaii on September 25, 1968. In 1969, Lynn joined Jim in Germany while he was in active duty. While they were there, they welcomed a son, Clinton James. They moved back to the St. Louis area and bought a home in St. Charles in 1972. In 1974, their daughter, Carol Jean, was born.

In 1984, they relocated to Camdenton, Missouri. Lynn spent her career as the office manager at Ozark Ford. She retired after 27 years on October 31, 2012. Lynn was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and Lynn was a bright, loving, and strong willed person with a heart of gold. Lynn was highly protective of her family and friends. Her husband and her children were her life. Six years ago Lynn was diagnosed with a horrible lung disease which she finally succumbed to on Saturday afternoon.

Lynn is survived by her son Clint (Robin) Reutner; her daughter Carol (Marc) Hall; her only sister Gerry (Joe) Pagano; her niece and caretaker Margie Pagano; sister-in-law Barb (Marvin) Sehuller; grandchildren Ryan and Katie Hall, and Ashley, Payden, and Chase; and friend Dionne.

Lynn will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and special friends including Michelle Meier and Larry and Karen Bates.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Camdenton, Missouri. Service will follow.

Memorial Contributions in Lynn’s honor to a cause dear to her personally may be made out to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
