Obituary of Roy T. Allison Jr
Roy “Tom” T. Allison Jr, son of the late Roy and Beatrice Allison, was born on July 27, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona and departed this life on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Roy decided to join the United States Marine Corps on February 8, 1965, and served our country until he was honorably discharged on February 7, 1971. He received four medals during his service time, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. During his service time he met Jennifer, and on August 12, 1969, they were united in marriage, and they just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Beatrice; and two sisters Bonnie Brown and Sue Parsons. He is survived by his two children Christopher “Chris” and wife Carolyn Allison and Michelle “Shelly” and husband Delton Jones; his seven grandchildren Kahlin Allison, Shelby Dawn Allison, Zachary Allison, Joseph and Emelie Johnson, Jordan and Darby Johnson, Alyssa Jones, and Haley and Tommie Stoufer; five great-grandchildren Aaron, Brantley, Lorelai, Jax, and Bella; one brother William “Bill” Allison. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will all truly miss him.
Roy loved spending time with his family and friends. He spent most of his time hunting, fishing, and taking little adventure rides with his best friend and beautiful wife Jennifer. Roy and Jennifer enjoyed going to church and were members of Heartland Worship Center of Camdenton, Missouri.
Services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
