Obituary of Linda Sue Burns

Linda Sue (Ward) Burns, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at her home in Camdenton, Missouri.

Linda was born July 8, 1952 in Camdenton, Missouri to Erma Clopp Ward and William (Billy) Ward. She married the love of her life, Dale Burns, July 22, 1970 at Linn Creek Baptist Church. Linda proclaimed her faith in the Lord at a young age.

Linda was a homemaker, who loved flowers and gardening. She also loved painting. Her family was the main focus of her life. She graduated from Camdenton High School and lived all her life in Camden County, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Dwane Burns; two brothers Clifford McQueen and Eugene McQueen.

She is survived by her husband Dale Burns; three sisters Carolyn Halderman, Pat Smith and her husband Bill, and Delores Crall and her husband James; one brother Bill Ward and his wife Susan; (all of Camdenton, Missouri); many nieces and nephews; and lots of friends.

She will be greatly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri.
