Obituary of Dennis C. Edison

Dennis “Red” C. Edison, age 73, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Red was born February 20, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of John Edison and Bernice (Rudloff) Edison Pegg.

On April 18, 1969, Red was united in marriage to Toni Kiely in Bridgeton, Missouri. They shared 52 years of marriage at the time of his passing.

Red worked as a biomedical engineer for hospitals. He loved the lake, especially going out boating and fishing. He enjoyed playing league pool. He was on a team that won many awards including 2 national championships. He also spent time repairing cues. He loved his family greatly and loved spending time with them. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many.

Red is survived by his wife Toni Edison of the home; son Eric Edison (Lisa) of St. Louis, Missouri; and grandson Kyle.

Red was preceded in death by his brother Terry and his mother Bernice Pegg.
