Obituary of Charity Martin

Charity Martin, age 22, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Charity was born July 22, 1999 in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of John Martin and Shera Collins.

Charity loved reading and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and traveling to new places. She loved to do makeup for others.

Charity is survived by her daughter Vivian of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; father John Martin and wife Lily of Ixtahaucan de Los Membrillos, Mexico; mother Shera Collins of Roach, Missouri; brothers Marcus Martin of Camdenton, Missouri and Braden Collins of Roach, Missouri; sisters Mary Martin (Robertson) of Greenville, North Carolina and Amelia Martin of Roach, Missouri; maternal grandparents Rose and Gene Holman of Camdenton, Missouri; paternal grandparents Bob and Neva Martin of Ixtlahaucan de Los Membrillos, Mexico; and paternal grandparents Chuck and Janna Collins of Bethany, Illinois.

Charity was preceded in death by her step-dad Nick Collins. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
