Whether during a simple trail ride on horseback or a lively discussion over a beverage, conversations with Will were always the best! Arlington National Cemetery will lay to rest another man of great honor. - Our Love, Jon & Wendy McGraw

Ever since Bill hired me as a young engineer he has been someone I looked up to and respected. It makes me smile when I think of him calling me “LT” (as he always did) and picking on me about being from K State. I regret that I hadn’t seen him in several years but I am going to make it to Arlington to visit him soon.

Bill, as many of us from Olathe called you, made a difference in so many lives. His contributions to our community as Director and Public Works are limitless and memorable. His friendship will always be cherished!

My sympathies to the Ramsey Family. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill while working at the City of Leawood. Bill was on the Stormwater Management Committee and was always a good contributor to the group discussions. Always a pleasant person to greet and a level headed person to discuss pros and cons about a topic. I'm so glad I was able to meet him, even though it was in the later years of his life. He served his Country and Communities well. Thank you for your service!

Will was the sweetest man. Just a lovely and kind soul to Andrea and the kids. A generous host, a cool and stylish gent, the Captain of his boat on the lake. Those who knew him have been left with precious memories. I just adored him and he will be sorely missed.

Will and I were asked by ESU to represent the 60s era in a meeting at the ESU KC Metro Campus run by folks from Auburn University. The purpose to gather various era experiences from KSTC/ESU to build toward + experiences for current students. Will and I went on a long bit @ the vibrant social and Greek life experience. Then the dreaded question, "Tell us about your academic experiences." We never missed a beat, " You're asking the wrong guys!". I remember his laugh then and over the years.
