Obituary of David McCullough

David McCullough, age 58, of Macks Creek, Missouri passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

David was born April 10,1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Leon and Carol (Underwood) McCullough.

David was married to the love of his life Debbie Ruble on September 11, 2000 in Miami, Oklahoma. They shared 21 wonderful years together before his passing.

David was a man of humor, generosity, and kindness; but above everything he was a wonderful husband, father, papa, and son. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed all the time they spent making memories together or teaching them the value of life. David loved to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors. He especially enjoyed taking trips and going on random outings with his wife such as taking a picnic to share at the park. Everyone that met David loved him as a genuine guy. He will be missed by his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the lives of his family and the people he touched.

Daivd  is survived by his wife Debbie McCullough of the home; his children Jeremy McCullough (Susie) of Augusta, Kansas, Josh McCullough of Sedalia, Missouri, Steven Smith of Springfield, Missouri and Angel Smitherman of Camdenton, Missouri; his grandchildren Austin and Cheyenne McCullough, Hanna Rogers, Zack and Sophie McCullough, Parker and Spencer Smith, and Kyla and Kody Kempter; his father Leon McCullough of Sawyer, Kansas; his mother Carol Underwood (Dave Thomas) of Wichita, Kansas; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Steve McCullough.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Higher Gounds Coffee House in Camdenton, Missouri.
