My wife Louise and I are so sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. Our condolences are heartfelt. Rev. Bassett married us in December of 1970 at Maxey Chapel UMC, RR Knoxville, IL. I met Louise in Okinawa, Japan as I was her sponsor when she arrived to teach military children. We came back to Illinois prior to our marriage and going to Germany for three years. Raymond met with us and said we would have six weeks of marriage counseling We told him we were leaving for Germany in two weeks. He married us two days later. He was a fine man. He will be missed we are sure and he is now in Jesus' presence. Tom and Louise (England) Mosher

My family & I traveled with Ray & his wife to Israel in the spring of 1994. Ray was fun to travel with. That was such a memorable trip to the Holy Land. R I P Ray.

I have known Ray and Louise as well as many of his family members through the American Passion Play. It was always nice seeing him at the performances and the different parts that he has portrayed through the years. My thoughts and prayers to Louise, Melissa, Nathan, Ashton, as well as other family members.
