My father was telling me stories about his childhood friend, after some looking I was led here. My deepest condolences to your family and loved ones, having never met him I know through my father that he was a good and honest man. They met as children in the trailer park, had to have been late 60's early 70's. From playing with hot wheels and matchbox cars, to Steve winning the bicycle in Buffalo, Missouri, as children they were very close. My fathers name is Steve as well, he looks back on their friendship fondly. I didn't know Steve. He was younger in school. But I know his sister Nancy, as we were in the same grade. From his eulogy, I take that Steve is very much like his sister: kind, intelligent, duteous, and loving. Those traits are strongly needed in this world, and a void has been left as yet now another honoring soul has passed. My prayer is that those attributes of Steve live on, carry on, in his children, neices, nephews and those who knew him, and their children. He left a beautiful legacy. May peace be with you all.
