Obituary of James Arlan Grantham

 

James “Jim” Arlan Grantham was born June 2, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Arlis and Victoria Grantham. He died Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

 

Jim grew up in Camdenton, Missouri and graduated from Camdenton High School.  He enrolled at the University of Missouri before serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps. After completing his enlistment, Jim graduated from the University of Missouri and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate there. He practiced law in Tuscumbia, Missouri and was later the Miller County, Associate Circuit Judge.

 

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, to whom he was married for 58 years. He is also survived by his son Scott and his wife Carol, their 2 daughters Ashley and her husband David Mc Nulty and Sarah and her husband Phil Runco; his son Jonathan and his wife Angela, their 2 sons Kellen and Quinn; and his son Stephen and his wife Tara, their 2 sons Nathan and Joseph and his wife Courtney, and their 3 sons Zane, Paxen and Xavier.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 2:00 – 3:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
