Obituary of Juanita M. Grote

Juanita M. Grote, 90, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach.

Juanita was born October 6, 1931 in Compton, California.

Juanita was remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Juanita was a strong, independent woman who never met a stranger. In her 90+ years, she made many fond acquaintances and many true friends. She was loved by many.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband George Grote; parents Hank and Gladys Martz; her brother Darrell Martz; sister Cora McGowan; and daughter Sandra Latham.

Juanita is survived by daughters Patricia Overstake and Stephane Shaw; grandchildren Heather Jones, Angela Latham, Amanda Latham, Michele Piper-Overstake, and Jennifer Snow; and five great-grandchildren.

Juanita will be greatly missed but her legacy will live on. Rest in Peace. We love you.
