Obituary of Norma Jeanne Gebhardt

Norma Jeanne Gebhardt, age 84, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Jeanne was born November 2, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest Elmer and Mary Ruth (Mackie) Grigsby.

Jeanne loved spending time with her family. She was an animal lover and was always smiling and helping others, she never met a stranger. She volunteered at CADV and had a passion for helping others. She was always there for her friends and family. She enjoyed shopping, especially for jewelry, purses, and shoes! She loved to travel and loved the ocean, especially Balboa Island, California. Jeanne spent many years in California and was Miss Santa Ana, California. She was a Christian and her love for God was unmeasurable. Jeanne worked at Price Brothers Management in KCMO for 24 years as a Leasing Agent.  She also, worked at Hutchens Optical Company in Santa Ana, California.

Jeanne is survived by her son Kevin Hutchens and husband Jeff Williams of Aspen, Colorado; her daughter Amy Thompson and husband Jeff of Camdenton, Missouri; 11 grandchildren Camille Thompson, Emma Thompson, Delton Thompson, Sam Thompson, Chloe Thompson, Malia Thompson, Kayla Thompson, Ian Thompson, Jake Thompson, Rachel Thompson, andBrandon Thompson; and 7 great-grandchildren Julian, Jeremiah, Fey, River, Conner, Logan, and Kaylee.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Elmer and Mary Ruth Grigsby; her sisters Janet Grigsby and Brenda Eaton; and grandson Ben Thompson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in April 2022 in Kansas City, Kansas.
