Obituary of Sharif M. Saleh

Sharif M. Saleh, age 49, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri.

 

Sharif was born August 5, 1972, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Mohamed and Heba (Fouad) Saleh.

 

On August 1, 2009, he was married to Sarah Forbis and together they had shared over 12 years as husband and wife.

 

Sharif worked as a regional manager with Direct TV satellite company and prior to this employment, he worked for the Department of Corrections rising to the rank of Captain.  Any time Sal was free, he loved spending time with family whether enjoying movies or just sitting and playing board games. Some of his favorite pass time also included watching football and riding his Harley. Above all, what was most precious was time spent with family.

 

Sharif is survived by his wife Sarah of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; his children Lexi and Jackson Saleh of the home, Tanner Saleh and wife, Alexis, of Wentzville, Missouri, and Jessie Saleh of Tallahassee, Florida; father Mohamed Saleh and wife, Audrey, of O'Fallon, Illinois; his mother Heba Linder and husband, Wayne, of Creve Coeur, Missouri. He is also survived by his sister Suzanne Schultze and husband, Brian, of Raleigh, North Carolina; his step brothers Chris Linder and wife, Schoena, of St. Peters, Missouri, Anthony Kay of Belleville, Illinois, and Michael Kay of O'Fallon, Illinois;  his step-sister Wendy Kay and husband, Grant Largent, of St. Louis, Missouri; his mother-in-law Julie Cowan and husband, Charles, of Vandalia, Missouri; father-in-law Larry Forbis and wife, Dawn, of Monroe City, Missouri; sister-in-law Jamie Ennis and husband, Chad, of Austin, Texas; and sister-in-law Laura Casagrande and husband, Rob, of St. Peters, Missouri.

 

He was preceded in death by his son Jake Saleh.

 

Visitation services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.
