Obituary of Pamela Wartenbergh

Pamela "Pam" Wartenbergh, age 69, of Linn Creek, Missouri of one year, formerly of San Jose, California for 40 years, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Pam was born July 3, 1952 was born Pamela Sue Griffin in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Lester Griffin and Mary Woodruff.

On June 18, 1977, Pam married Johannes "Joe" Wartenbergh. They shared 43 years of marriage before he passed January 17, 2021.

Pam lived a happy life originally as a stay at home mom. While we were little, she would occasionally assist Joe with his business, even siliconing bath tubs while the kids were at school. She returned to work in her long-time field of customer service/sales in medical equipment and devices. She earned many awards and her customers loved her.

Pam loved to do anything with Joe. Exploring art and wine festivals, day drives to the beach in Santa Cruz for lunch, she loved her video black jack, loved cooking for her family and grandkids. She always would play H-O-R-S-E with her grandkids when they would visit. She loved to make people smile and was an extremely giving person.

Pam and Joe were just getting ready to retire when Joe passed. She loved to be in the home they just purchased because it reminded her of Joe. They were truly one. She loved Joe more than life on earth.

Pam was widowed in January 2021 and is survived by daughter Annie and fiancé Michael Palmer; son Joey and his longtime girlfriend Michelle; 2 grankids Trevor, 17, and Brooke, 16. She is also survived by 1 living sister Judy Griffin and many cousins; great-cousins on the Carrino and Griffin side who she was so happy to be living close to; her God daughter Sarah Carrino, who she had just become extremely close; and Joe’s 8 siblings that always have considered her a sister.

She was deceased by her brother Butch Griffin and both her parents died when she a young girl.
