Obituary of Michael A. Wilson

Michael (Mike) A. Wilson, age 73, of Camdenton, Missouri lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 and was called home to Jesus.

Mike was born on October 9, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri, to his parents Fred Wilson Sr and Irene (Porter) Wilson. 

He was a devout Christian and is now resting comfortably in the arms of God. 

Mike was a military veteran, having served his country in the US Army and was a true patriot at heart. 

Mike had a smile that could light up a room and loved a party.  In short, he loved Jesus, his country and karaoke!

Mike will be lovingly missed by his devoted wife and best friend, Delania Steele, his son Michael (Mikey) Wilson Jr and step-daughters, Nichole (LoPiccolo) Myers and Amanda (Chestnas) Garn and his nine grandchildren, Audri, Bella, Franki, Gia, Hailey, Hunter, Jaxon, Taralyn and Vinnie.  He is also survived by his sisters, Lana (Wilson) Coffee and Paula (Wilson) Mullikin, and his brother, Fred Wilson Jr.

We invite everyone to join us for services to remember Mike on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12 - 2pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home at 1270 Business Hwy 5, Camdenton, Missouri.  Later that evening there will be a celebration of life from 5 - 8pm at The Exchange at 57 Court Circle SW, Camdenton, Missouri.
