Obituary of Barbara Sue Nations

Barbara Sue Nations, 76, of Macks Creek, Missouri, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Monday, April 11, 2022 at her home in Macks Creek surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born April 27, 1945 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Stephen Bill Owens and Mayme June Owens.

Barbara was united in marriage to Charles Nations on May 23, 1964, together they shared 34 years of marriage.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Charles Nations; son Race Nations; three brothers Junior, Richard, and David Owens; one sister Maxine Hoppy.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Gale Nations; daughter-in-law Cheri Nations; grandkids Cody (Amanda) Lamar, Haylie (Josh) Henry, Amy Lamar, Shane (Melissa) Nations, and Shawn (Brittney) Nations; great grandchildren Dillon, Ethan, Addison, Carson, Layton, Blakely, Tate, Jayce, Macy, Reece, and Bristol; two brothers Calvert and Leroy; three sisters Evelyn, Phyllis, and Gladys; along with nephews, nieces, and other relatives, and many friends.

Barbara loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 am.
