Obituary of Gary Lee Hall

Gary Lee Hall left this world on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the age of 71. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in the hearts of those who loved him. 

Gary has been called many things over the years, but being called PaPa was by far his favorite. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with, talk to, or brag about his grandchildren. 

Gary was quick to offer help if someone needed directions and was often lovingly referred to as Lewis and Clark by his children. He had a keen business sense, an unnatural love for Fox News and never met a stranger. Dad was full of wisdom that he loved to share with anyone and everyone who would listen. 

He leaves behind his life partner of forty-seven years, Bonnie Hall; four children, Tammy (Wes) Nicholas, Cinda Garrison (Forrest Bergheger), Bethany Greene, Brandon (Jadda) Hall; and two step-children, Robert Hall and Janeen (Lane) Eddy. He will also be greatly missed by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, one brother, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.

The family would love for everyone to come and honor his life at The Garrison House, 106 N 16th St Clarinda, IA 51632 on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
