Obituary of Teddye Carl Leslie, Jr.
Teddye Carl Leslie, Jr., 61, of Osage Beach, Missouri, went skidding sideways into heaven in his usual fashion to meet his Lord and Savior, leaving behind many broken hearts. While being an extraordinarily handsome gentlemen, Teddye also found time to be a farmer, a bartender, and a master mechanic. Attending a car show with Teddye was especially enjoyable because he could identify every car ever manufactured. Because of his intelligent and inquisitive personality, he often found himself in wildly quirky situations, always having fun along the way. He had a very kind and gentle nature and will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Ted C. Leslie, Sr.
He leaves behind his mother Jeanelle Leslie, sisters Candice Leslie and Tori (Mark) Ketcherside, two grandchildren PV2 Domanick Leslie and Mackenzie Leslie, nephew Scott Ketcherside, niece Miranda Ketcherside, his fabulous cousins, his Aunt Barb, and friends too numerous to mention. He fought a hard battle against lung cancer and didn’t give up until the last minute, not ready to leave this world.
Teddye leaves us with one of his favorite quotes and one which is very befitting of him…..What a Long Strange Journey It’s Been. See you on the other side.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Conway Cemetery in Osage Beach, Missouri.
