Obituary of Charles Chittenden

Charles “Chuck” Chittenden passed away suddenly on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 75 years.  Chuck was born in Grant, Michigan to June and Russell Chittenden on October 5, 1946. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969.  He married his wife Carolyn on August 14, 1970.  He graduated from Ferris State College in 1975. He was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother Bruce.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years and his daughter Melissa and her husband Craig Hindle and their three daughters Ryleigh, Kaitlyn, and Sydney.  He is also survived by his brother David Chittenden and his sister Ruth Bennink, and four nieces and three nephews all residing in Michigan. 

Visitation and funeral will be held at New Life Church of the Nazarene located at 135 Bear Paw Road Camdenton, Missouri on Friday, May 6, 2022.  Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. and funeral at 2:00 p.m. Following the service will be a fish fry.  Chuck was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He will be buried with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
