Obituary of Connie Jo Young Denny

Connie Jo Young Denny was born in Eislingen/Fils Germany on July 16, 1957. Connie’s parents, who predeceased her, were Hildagard and Patrick Young of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. They were a very proud military family. She lost her long, hard battle to cancer and entered Heaven’s gates on May 6, 2022.  

A consummate mother and homemaker, who was incredibly proud of her children Andy Denny of Grant, Alabama, Stacie Denny Davis of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, son-in-law Ronnie Davis and her beautiful grandchildren Grady and Elsic Davis of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Connie will be missed by her family and many friends who loved her dearly.

Connie was a beautiful sole that enjoyed her many pets over the years and loved her hobby of collecting treasures and antiques. The girl loved the yard sales and thrift stores.

Connie had an unwavering work ethic through her entire life and was a respected employee for many years in the service industry at the Lake of the Ozarks. Connie worked at the Lodge of the Four Seasons, Horny Toad, Port Arrowhead, and Fat Polly’s over the last 30 years. Over the years, Connie was also an ultimate caregiver for many family members, nieces, nephews, and friends. She always gave 100% of herself.

The family welcomes you to join them in celebrating this beautiful lady on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at The Charleston Condominium Clubhouse in Lake Ozark, MO for a Celebration of Life.

Flowers and donations for her grandchildren’s education are not necessary but welcomed at the celebration.
