Obituary of Rocky Eugene Jacobsen

Rocky Eugene Jacobsen passed away on May 13, 2022 near his home in Warsaw, Missouri at the age of 64, preceded in his passing by parents, Ernest (Hap) and Beverly (Bev) Jacobsen; wife, Debra (Debi); and sister, Candius (Candy) Kinman.

 

He is remembered by brother, Rick; daughter, Shannon and son-in-law Clayton; son, Ryan and daughter-in-law Elle; and grandchildren Alex (Olive), Atlanta, Aceyn, and Arbor.

 

Rocky enjoyed spending time on and near the water. Whether it be with friends, family, or a mix of the two; he took pleasure in the adventures of cruises and seaside resorts along with free time spent on a river or lake boating and fishing. He cherished these experiences spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

 

Growing up Rocky prided himself in his skills in horsemanship and training horses with his siblings, which he passed on to his granddaughter Atlanta. Rocky and Aceyn could be found talking cars, while Arbor took her time telling Grandpa Rocky how it was and how it was going to be. His eldest grandchild remembers the times they conspired together to trade yard work and quiet time with getting to stay up past bedtime on non-school nights and extra time on the computer when he spent time at their house.
