Obituary of Douglass S. Heath

Douglass S. Heath, 62, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his home in Cross Timbers, Missouri.

Douglass was a complicated man with a strong sense of family. He loved all types of music, played piano, and had a powerful singing voice. When he lived in Maine, he sang with the Gorham Community Chorus. He was a jack-of-all-trades (master of some) and worked in multiple professions, from carpentry to glass installation and truck driving. His house was always open to others and he tried to help whomever he could through their struggles. He was often known for his quick and sarcastic sense of humor and his black derby hat. He will be greatly missed. 

He is survived by his wife Valerie, and five children between them: Keith, Hope, Michelle, Angela, and Benjamin; six grandchildren; and three siblings: Sonny, Eric, and Amanda.
