Obituary of Mary White

Mary White, age 93, of Macks Creek, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at her home in Macks Creek.

 

Mary was born September 7, 1928 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hugh Wesley and Samantha (Lame) Little.

 

On September 16, 1957, Mary was united in marriage to Loy Harrison White in Nevada. They shared 20 years of marriage at the time he preceded her in death in April 1978.

 

Mary grew up in Eugaula, Oklahoma and then moved to Bakersfield, California. In 1972, she and Loy moved to Macks Creek. Mary loved to spend time in her garden and canning the produce from it. She also enjoyed quilting and being a housewife. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

 

Mary is survived by her children Loy Joe White of Macks Creek, Missouri and Teresa Carnahan (Charles) of Macks Creek, Missouri; 3 grandchildren Glenda LeEtta Frost, Charles Joseph Carnahan, and Curtis Wayne Carnahan; and 4 great-grandchildren Danielle, Aletris, Harrison, and Kayleah.

 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Samantha Little and her husband Loy Harrison White.

 

Private services will be held at a later date at Macks Creek Cemetery.
