Obituary of Regina Bair

Regina Bair, age 96, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on March 20, 1926 in Benton, Kansas at the family farm, she was the daughter of Albert and Ida Meyersick.

On September 22, 1944, Regina was united in marriage to Bob Bair in Benton, Kansas. They shared 60 years together until Bob’s passing on December 31, 2004. They loved traveling together, fishing, playing games, growing their garden, and canning many vegetables for themselves and family. But most of all, they loved spending time with family.

Regina was a strong, hard worker her whole life. They owned Clearwater Resort for 13 years and then Jo Joes Restaurant for over 10 years. She was a wonderful mother to her 5 children who she loved very much.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Wood and her husband Woody from Camdenton, Missouri; son Mike Bair and his wife Brenda from Marshall, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter Linda Buffum, daughter Janet Coffman, son Marc Bair, and 1 great-grandson Trevor Voyles.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
