Obituary of Patricia Carol Atteberry

Patricia Carol (Pat) Atteberry, age 83, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home near Eldon, Missouri, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 3, 1939 in Modesto, California to Hoyle and Fern O. (Engle) Atteberry.

Pat is survived by her son Steve Atteberry and his life companion Donna Ely of Eldon, Missouri, her grandson Robert Williams Atteberry, also of Eldon, several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many good friends, both new and old.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Betty Jo Rice, Jude Bassett, Irma (Pud) Borch, and Barbara Knoch, and one brother John Atteberry.

She was a graduate of School of the Osage, where she worked for many years as secretary and librarian. Pat was also manager of the Rebel Arcade on the Lake Ozark strip until her retirement in 1991 due to ill health.
