Obituary of Patrick James Wells

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick James Wells of Olean, Missouri, born in Chicago, Ilinois who passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the age of 41.

Patrick was loved by many people. As a child he attended House of God in Chicago where he learned how to play the drums, guitar, base guitar being his favorite. Patrick graduated high school in 1998 at William Frem High School. He later moved to Missouri where he met Rachel and moved to Olean to start their family. Patrick then started to attend the Olean Baptist church. He loved to ride horses, 4-wheelers, and dirt bikes. There was nothing he couldn't fix. Anyone could call on Patrick for help and he was there no questions asked. He had a passion for cooking and would never turn down a debate. He loved hard and was a great son, brother, uncle, Dad, and partner and will forever be missed.

Patrick Wells is lived on by his two children Patreauna Elizabeth Marie Wells (19) of Olean, Missouri and Patrick Emorse Wells (14) of Olean, Missouri; his significant other Rachel Landon of Olean, Missouri; his grandparents Edward and Josephine of Indiana; his parents Emorse and Lenora Newman of Indiana; his siblings twin sister Porsche Wells (41) of Indiana, Paris Newman (30) of Indiana, Patsie Newman (23) of Indiana, and Palaiedis Newman (21) of Indiana; four nieces and two nephews, Passionae, Da'miyah, Da'moni, Da'miria, and Preston, all from Indiana, and Dawson of Eldon, Missouri. Patrick also is survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. 

Family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Olean, Missouri from 2 - 4pm.
