Obituary of Kelsey Ray Dust

Kelsey Ray Dust, age 4, of Urbana, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Kelsey was born November 17, 2017, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Phillip and Tiffany Dust (James).

Kelsey was a preschooler at the Skyline Elementary School, where she loved to make art projects and put bows on anything she could.  She had a beautiful smile and such a sweet way about her.  She loved playing outside, swimming, dressing in her princess clothes, and putting on makeup with Aunt Sammy. 

Kelsey was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Kelsey is survived by her father, Phillip Dust, and sister Kylee Ann Dust of Urbana, MO; Grandma “Bing Bong”, Stephanie Council and husband Matthew of Springfield, MO; Grandpa, Kevin Dust and wife Katie of Evansville, IN;Grandpa Joseph Matthews of Kansas City, MO;her Papa and Mema, Rex and Amanda James of Pleasant Hope, MO; Great Grandma “Banny”, Delores Jantz, of Springfield, MO; GreatGrandma“GiGi”, Jane Hazen of Springfield, MO;Great Grandpa “Papa Ray”, Raphael Dust of Pocahontas, AR; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tiffany Dust, and baby brother David Wesley Dust; her Great Grandpas, David Jantz, David Hazen, and Jimmy James; and Great Grandmas Shirley Dust and Glenna James.

Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, September 19, 2022 at Grace Community Methodist Church in Buffalo, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation, from 5:00-7:00 pm, prior to services at the church.
