Obituary of Sonya Sue Parish

Sonya Sue Parish, age 80, of Lebanon, Missouri, formerly of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022in Springfield, Missouri.

Sonya was born September 18, 1942 in Osage Beach, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Doral (Emry) Parish.

Sonya enjoyed visiting with her family and friends at family gatherings or at a restaurant. She enjoyed going to community Baptist church when her health allowed and was passionate about her love for the Lord. Her greatest time was spent with her daughters and grandchildren.  Sonya was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Sonya is survived by her daughters Sheree Marley (J.R) of Lebanon, Missouri, Kimiley Rivers (Rick) of Lebanon Missouri, and Tesha Frederick (Scott) of Guernsey, Wyoming; five grandchildren Tiffani, Troy (Jaime), Seth (McKinsey), Misty, and Mallory; seven great-grandchildren Weston, Lane, Haven, Alizabeth, Addison, Nicolas, and Hunter; her brother Larry Parish (Kathy) of St. Joe, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

Sonya was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Doral Parish and son Kevin Walters.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:00pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Dale Blair Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Hughes Senior Center in Lebanon, Missouri.
