Obituary of Shirley Ann Qualls
Shirley Ann Qualls (Bricker), 83, of Roach, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 1. Shirley was the youngest daughter of William and Flora Bricker (James).
Shirley was born September 25, 1939 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. She was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School. She was active in many school activities including choir and homecoming royalty.
After graduation, Shirley married Robert Eugene Qualls of Lee’s Summit, Missouri on December 26, 1960. Over the course of their 61 years of marriage, Shirley spent time living in Kansas City, MO, Colorado Springs, CO, Odessa, MO, where she was a member of the First Christian Church, and Janesville, WI. In 1994; she finally retired with Robert in Roach, MO on the Lake of the Ozarks.
In September of 1970, Shirley and Robert adopted their only child and son, Bradley Qualls (Britt) of Lenexa, Kansas. Over the course of her 83 years, Shirley touched many lives with her kind words and deeds and her sweet, loving smile. She enjoyed doting on her grandchildren (Meg, Evan and Jane Qualls) arts and crafts, nature, traveling, and spending time with people she loved.
Shirley is survived by her husband Robert, her son Bradley, and three grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Flora Bricker, three sisters, Nadine Carter, Maxine Milne, and Nina Ford and one brother, John Bricker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
The family welcomes friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 am, prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Hedges Cemetery, Camenton, Missouri.
