Obituary of Michael Alan Reed

Michael Alan Reed (Mike) of Montreal, Missouri and Linn Creek, Missouri went home to be with the Lord, the evening of Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Mike, son of Hank and Dorothy Reed of Linn Creek, Missouri, was born August 21, 1963, in Redwood City, California. He passed away at Windsor Estates Convelesent Hospital in Camdenton, Missouri surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his son Montana Reed and wife Heather Reed, of Sahuarita, Arizona; granddaughter Aurora Kayleigh Reed and grandson Bentley Holden Reed; sister Sheryl Nugent and husband Jim Nugent, of Camdenton, Missouri; nephew Chad Nugent and wife Katie, of Camdenton, Missouri; Jennifer Nugent Done and husband Cory Done, of Springfield, Missouri; and Chase and Mackenzie Nugent, of Camdenton, Missouri.

He was a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a cherished uncle and great uncle, and a friend to many.

Mike was a carpenter for most of his life and was a craftsman in wood working and calligraphy. If you happen to have any one of his woodworking pieces, cherish it, he put a lot of love into each piece. He knew how to entertain, and he knew how to make you laugh. Mike didn’t usually take the easy road or even a road at all. He lived hard. However, even though he went through many trials in his lifetime, he found his way back to his family and to the Lord. He was one of a kind and we will miss him.
