Obituary of Mary F. Goodwin

Mary F. Goodwin, age 74, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.

 

Mary was born February 18, 1948 in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of Ted and Fay (Welton) Lee.

 

On January 15, 1969, Mary was united in marriage to Carl Goodwin in Madison County, Illinois. They shared 29 years together at the time of his passing on November 17, 1998.

 

Mary enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed making toys and donating them to kids. She loved working at Paul’s Grocery Store at Lake of the Ozarks for 12 years. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

 

Mary is survived by her daughter Shelba Rodden (Roger) of Brumley, Missouri; 2 grandchildren Dakota Rodden and Drew Rodden; siblings Eddie Lee, Dorris Burton, Kathy Merz, Susie Newingham, and Judy Bettorf.

 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Carl Goodwin, parents Ted and Fay Lee, and 11 siblings.

 

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 12:30 pm at the Brumley Lions Club. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 pm following services.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
